Local Rumours:

The elections have been and gone.+

The new MP for Stafford is Terrance Harvey, a Doctor from Highfields. Terrance stood for the Conservative Party, and managed to take the Constituency from Labour after a well fought campaign against the Labour Candidates alleged bribery.+

The elections fro Mayor of Stafford have also come in. Liberal Democrat candidate Jessie Mellor won the vote with a majority of just 38 over the Conservative Candidate, David Reynolds. Jessie is a local business owner, she is well known within the Hospitality scene as the owner of the Swan hotel and Tillington Hall Hotels in Stafford.+

David Reynolds has taken the defeat well, seeming as all signs showed that he was likely to win the vote. However, Mr Reynolds has announced that he will be staying in Stafford for the foreseeable future.+

Concerns have been raised in Penkridge after it is believed that some local Animal Protesters broke into the Penkridge Veterinary facility and freed a number of animals. The animals are believed to have been infected with the GCT virus, causing the UKEMR to step in with harsher responses. Searches are under way for the infected animals and also the Protesters who caused this.+

Bureaucracy Rumours:

With the new councillors coming into the offices, things are starting to get a bit better. Jessie sounds like she'll be good for the area.+

However, I've heard that that guy from Stoke, Reynolds, has been offered a position within the council.+

Church Rumours:

There has been a lot of talk amongst various circles of the Dioceses in the West Midlands. There is various matters of discussion at the moment, the state of the church, the state of the local people, the virus that plagues peoples minds and more besides.+

Also, apparently, it seems like there are other groups who are interested in the discussions as well.+

Health Rumours:

A review of Stafford Hospital has shown significant improvements in the care of patients there. However, there have been warnings about the administration and control of substances within the hospital. However, this has not been limited to Stafford Hospital, Cannock Chase Hospital have also received similar cautions.+

High Society Rumours:

"Nova" is planning to hold a masquerade ball some time in the near future. Nobody has heard anything of this "Nova" person before. Several toffs were given a card, with details on, and it seems that it is an open invitation. We'd like to know who this "Nova" is.+

Media Rumours:

Nova" is holding a masquerade ball, sometime in the near future. No paper, station or, well, anyone, seems to know who he is. We think there is going to be a major announcement of some sort at the ball, but we don't have any details yet. There's some major cash for any freelancer who can get us exclusive details about this "Nova" guy. All we've been able to gather so far is that he's male, early thirties, possibly eastern european. Nobody can get us a picture of this guy's face, because he very seldom shows up, and never usually gives his name.+

Looks like this new station, Jet Set radio might turn a few heads. One to watch out for.+
